Hello everyone and welcome to the new forum of the new Glasgow branch! If you've used an internet forum before then you'll find this all very familiar, if not then just jump in and don't be afraid to ask for help at any time.
A few things to remember:
Anyone can view messages but you need to be a registered member of the forum to be able to post. This stops unwanted spam.
Anyone can view messages - this is the internet remember - so don't say anything you wouldn't want published! And remember that we do have junior members. It is possible to restrict viewing to branch members only - this is something to think about whether we want to do this or not.
You may not be allowed to post in certain areas - at the minute only I can post in Announcements for example (cos I am a control freak 8) )
In general it's all common sense - hit reply if you want to reply to a post; hit 'quote' and the post you are replying to will appear in your post; use the 'new topic' button to start a new topic etc Check out the FAQ for more basic and general forum info.
